We are currently seeking charismatic, career-minded, self-motivated individuals to fill a Sales Professional position.
Sales Professionals at Zak's Home are responsible for building meaningful and long-term relationships with customers, and using their comprehensive product knowledge to advise and educate customers looking to purchase furniture for their home. We offer excellent benefits and competitive pay – guaranteed base pay of $50,000.00 during the first year of employment (paid at an hourly rate of $24.00 / hour) plus the opportunity to earn additional commission and bonuses. To be a successful Sales Professional you must have excellent interpersonal skills and experience in a professional retail sales environment. Duties and responsibilities for Sales Professionals include but are not limited to:
- Promoting and selling quality, brand name furniture and bedding
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals on a consistent basis while providing exceptional service and building quality relationships with our customers
- Developing product knowledge by learning product features, advantages and benefits
- Understanding processes and procedures related to sales and credit transactions
- Assisting to maintain an attractive store appearance -- cleanliness, merchandise presentation, price tags, etc.
The success of Zak's is largely dependent on the dedication and enthusiasm of our sales force. We offer our Sales Professionals a compensation and benefits package that is the best in the industry. Our compensation package includes:
- Guaranteed base pay of $50,000.00 during one-year introductory training period (paid at an hourly rate of $24.00 / hour).
- Opportunity to earn supplemental pay after 30 days (i.e., monthly commission and bonus pay)

Please note: All candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including morning, evening (10:00-7:00 work shift), weekend and holiday hours.
