**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a talented Corporate Planning Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for planning and design, possess strong analytical skills, and be excellence with interdepartamental collaboration.
**Responsibilities:**
Business management
Develop our business goals like budget, midterm plan together with analysis for each month result so as that every division can understand our position towards goal and next action for improvement. The duty includes visualization of goal and current position by utilizing sales/profit analysis working with sales and marketing division.
After setting up these goals, weekly PDCA follow-up activity is expected to be led by the position.
Business Strategy setting
Business strategy setting not only for specific business domain, but also for area business strategy like Mexico and Brazil would be made by supporting sales/marketing department and Mexico/Brazil entities. Upon this activity, analytic tool like 3C, 4P needs to be used for more concrete and realistic strategy setting. The duty includes action item setting on each member and task follow-up until realizing our goal.
Business analysis for profit improvement
Through our cost structure analysis, develop profit improvement plan including non-profitable item elimination, SGA cost validation. Collaboration with other department like sales, finance would be expected to realize the improvement.
**Minimimun Education/Experience Needed:**
Bachelor’s degree in finance/Accounting or Business Administration required; Minimum 4 years’ experience in manufacturing operations or planning and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Skills Needed**
- Language Skills Bilingual Japanese and English preferred.
- Strong understanding of P/L statement and cost structure;
- Excellent data base and spreadsheet skills;
- Ability to work across company and cultural environments;
- Ability to travel to domestic and international business.
