The ideal candidate will have a strong background in editing, extensive experience in writing federal proposals, and training in the Shipley methodology. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of crafting winning proposals.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and write high-quality proposals that effectively communicate our solutions to federal clients and agencies.

Manage the entire proposal process from inception to submission, ensuring compliance with all federal guidelines and requirements.

Collaborate with subject matter experts and team members to gather necessary information and ensure the accuracy and relevance of proposal content.

Edit and revise proposals for clarity, style, and effectiveness, maintaining a consistent voice throughout all documents.

Conduct thorough reviews of solicitation requirements to ensure both compliance and responsiveness to client needs and objectives.

Utilize the Shipley methodology to guide proposal strategies and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal writing, specifically with federal proposals.

Demonstrated experience in winning proposals through effective writing and strategic insights.

Strong editing background with exceptional attention to detail.

Certified training in the Shipley proposal writing methodology.

Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of working under tight deadlines and managing multiple proposals simultaneously.
