POSITION TITLE: Human Resources Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, Human Resource Operations
LOCATION: 1640 W Redstone Center Dr, Park City, UT 84098 (Monday - Thursday in-office, Fridays remote). You will likely spend 3-days per week in our Park City office, and 1-day per week at Gearhead Operations in West Valley City.
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 40-hours per week
PAY GRADE: Hourly
COMPENSATION RANGE: $20.00 - $24.00
JOB OVERVIEW:
The HR Coordinator is a collaborative team player who works closely with the People Team to organize and facilitate the administrative tasks of the team. The HR Coordinator is involved in key projects and initiatives which contribute to the organization's continued growth. As a People Team member, you will be a brand ambassador to Backcountry associates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
- Redirect HR, Payroll, and Benefit inquiries and distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team
- Assist employees with Dayforce issues, including but not limited to logging in, obtaining copies of paystubs or other year end documents
- Monitor and report on the company perks programs
- Assist with planning of corporate and department perks including but not limited to: ordering snacks/food, traveling to pick up food and beverages, supplies, prizes, set up of the event at the venue, as well as supervision of the actual event
- Prepare and distribute the monthly HR newsletter to the Herd
- Receive, process and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external customers
- Assist in ad-hoc HR, Payroll, and Benefit projects
- Other duties as business needs dictate
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and related software
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and a self-starter with an ability to motivate others
- Ability to support multiple people on a team
- Strong teamwork skills with a track record of collaboration, accountability and proactively anticipating the needs of the team and the business
- Ability and desire to be a cross-functional team player
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Excellent communication skills
- 6 months of professional experience, preferably in the retail, restaurant, or hospitality industry #LI-JH1 #BMP
