Lucayan Technology LLC is hiring an Access Control Personnel Supervisor to support The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD), a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support organization for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft and unmanned vehicles. This requirement is for NSWCPD Code 105, Security Division, which is responsible for the security and safety of NSWCPD personnel.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access to premises to ensure the security and safety of personnel and property
Supervise and manage a team of Access Control Personnel (ACPs), including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure adherence to security procedures and protocols.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and accountability.

Maintain surveillance through security cameras and alarm systems
Oversee day-to-day operations of access control points, including entry/exit monitoring, ID verification, and visitor management.
Coordinate with security personnel, facility management, and other stakeholders to ensure effective access control measures are in place.
Monitor security systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment to detect and respond to potential security breaches or incidents
Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or breaches, following established protocols and procedures.
Coordinate with emergency responders, such as law enforcement and medical personnel, to manage incidents effectively.
Document and report security incidents, investigations, and corrective actions taken to mitigate risks and prevent recurrence.
Develop and deliver training programs for ACPs to enhance their knowledge, skills, and competency in access control procedures.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure ACPs are equipped to handle security challenges effectively.
Stay informed about emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices to incorporate into training initiatives.
Clearance Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
First Aid/CPR certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in supervisory role in a related field
Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
Strong observational and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to handle stressful situations with composure
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
Knowledge of access control systems, surveillance equipment, and security technologies.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and respond calmly to emergencies.
Proficiency in computer applications and security management software.
Physical fitness and ability to perform duties requiring prolonged standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
