CDW is a leading dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental care and a positive experience for our patients. We are looking for a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team and be the welcoming face of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Interaction: Greet and check-in patients with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage the appointment book, schedule patient appointments, and handle rescheduling and cancellations.
- Communication: Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally, providing information or directing inquiries as needed.
- Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Billing and Payments: Process patient payments, handle billing inquiries, and assist with insurance claims processing.
- Office Coordination: Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists to ensure smooth operations and patient flow.
- Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient-centric approach and the ability to handle patient concerns with care.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.
- Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a dental or medical setting, is an advantage but not required.
- Team Player: Cooperative and willing to assist colleagues to ensure the best patient care.
