Viking Gymnastics & Dance seeks a dedicated Boys USAG Competitive Team and Instructional Coach to join our dynamic team. Description of Duties:
- Coach competitive USAG team gymnasts with a focus on skill development and performance enhancement
- Coach Boys Instructional classes
- Cultivate positive relationships with gymnasts, fellow coaches, and parents
- Attend local, regional, and national USAG meets as required
- Ensure program standards and safety protocols are consistently upheld
- Participate in meetings and ongoing professional development training
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of coaching USAG Boys Gymnastics required
- CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- USAG Membership & Safe Sport Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Professional demeanor with kindness and compassion
- Team player mentality, thriving in a collaborative environment
- Punctual and reliable with a high energy level
- Enthusiasm for working with children to nurture confidence and growth
- Familiarity with current best practices in gymnastics coaching
- Open to continuous learning and receptive to feedback
