South Central Region Community/Breast Imaging Radiologist
The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine in partnership with Indiana University Health Physicians is seeking a diagnostic radiologist to fill an open position in our Community Radiology Division covering IU Health work in the South-Central Region of Indiana. This is a clinical track position.
Excellent interpersonal skills are important in this role. Additionally, a customer-focused approach is essential to accommodate referring health care providers and their patients.
Clinical expertise is desired in plain film radiograph interpretation, body CT imaging, and general ultrasound. In addition, candidates would be responsible for performing fluoroscopic and routine image-guided body procedures and interpreting breast imaging.
Neuroradiology, body MRI, nuclear medicine, and cross-sectional musculoskeletal examinations are routinely interpreted centrally by subspecialists. Dedicated interventional radiologists are present for higher acuity cases. Candidates with appropriate subspecialty training or experience would have an opportunity to incorporate some of these subspecialty studies within their case load.
