Quality Patient-Centered Services, LLC (QPCS) is excited to partner with Posterity Group LLC in our shared mission to provide outstanding care. We're on the lookout for passionate and experienced Certified Nurse-Midwives to join the Women’s Health Department at Sutter Medical Center.
The award-winning, nationally recognized team is dedicated to offering a wide range of labor and delivery options tailored to meet each patient's needs. These include low-intervention birth, TOLAC/VBAC, hydrotherapy/water birth, nitrous oxide, anesthesia, and support from a volunteer doula service.
As Sutter Medical Center continues to grow and serve the community, dedicated midwives are needed to offer comprehensive care, including obstetrics, family planning, simple gynecology, and group prenatal care. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring quality care to the patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide obstetric and gynecologic care in both office and hospital settings.
- Support and promote physiologic labor and birth.
- Perform first and third-trimester limited OB ultrasounds.
- Assist with cesarean sections.
- Offer leadership and mentorship within the department.
- Engage in maternal mental health support.
- Implement LARC family planning methods.
- Conduct 8-hour post-discharge follow-up clinics.
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Expertise in maternal mental health.
- Proficiency in first and third-trimester limited OB ultrasound.
- Experience as a cesarean first assist.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Support for physiologic labor and birth.
- Familiarity with LARC family planning methods.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 or more years of experience in women’s health.
- Strong preference for labor & delivery experience.
Salary and Benefits:
- FTE salary range: $143,199 - $181,901 based on experience.
