As we will be opening our doors for the first time in August of 2024, this is a very new and exciting opportunity for our entire team. Job Responsibilities
- Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone
- Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues
- Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient appointment scheduling
- Checking in patients and notifying providers of patient arrivals
- Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions
- Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records
- Verifying insurance/financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims
- Sending referrals and prior authorizations via fax and following up on status as needed
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must adhere to all company policies and federal/state healthcare privacy laws and regulations (e.g. HIPAA)
