Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for various projects. Responsibilities:
1. Designing Electrical Systems, including Information Technology: Electrical engineers create plans for electrical systems, circuits, and devices based on project requirements and specifications. This could involve designing power distribution systems, control systems, IT, AV, or electronic circuits.
2. Testing and Evaluating Systems: Before implementation, engineers must be confident completed systems meet design standards and function correctly. This involves analyzing data, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary adjustments.
3. Developing Technical Specifications: They create detailed technical specifications for electrical components, equipment, or systems, outlining requirements such as materials, dimensions, and performance criteria.
4. Collaborating with Team Members: Electrical engineers often work as part of interdisciplinary teams, collaborating with other engineers, designers, technicians, and project managers to ensure projects are completed successfully and on time.
5. Ensuring Compliance with Regulations: Engineers must stay up-to-date with electrical codes, standards, and regulations to ensure designs comply with safety and quality requirements.
6. Project Management: Depending on their role, electrical engineers may be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
7. Research and Development: Some electrical engineers focus on research and development, exploring new technologies, materials, or methods to improve electrical systems' performance, efficiency, or sustainability.
8. Documentation and Reporting: Engineers maintain accurate records of designs, tests, and project progress, and may also prepare technical reports, manuals, or presentations for internal or external stakeholders.

10. Continuing Education and Professional Development: Electrical engineers must continuously update their skills and knowledge through training, workshops, or pursuing advanced degrees to stay abreast of advancements in technology and industry best practices.
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for designing and simulating electrical systems.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or MATLAB for developing control systems, algorithms, or simulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and the ability to adhere to safety standards and regulations.
Education/Qualifications (examples include:)
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is usually required.
- Fluent in Revit and computer-aided design (CAD).
- +2 years of generating electrical drawings.
- Experienced in clean rooms and hospitals is a plus.
Physical Requirements (examples include:)
- Electrical engineers may need to move around the workplace. This could involve walking, standing, or occasionally climbing stairs or ladders to access equipment or workstations
- Being physically able to travel, including sitting for extended periods during flights or driving, may be necessary.
- Working with small components, wiring, and tools may require good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. This could include tasks such as soldering components onto circuit boards or assembling electrical equipment.
