Vice President of Marketing
Job Summary:
The Vice President of Marketing will coordinate and develop marketing policies, programs, and campaigns, help promote products, and develop customer relationships.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily workflow and processes of the marketing department

Will supervise the Marketing Coordinator (future role)
Responsibilities:

Development of strategy and execution of digital media, email, and automation efforts designed to drive growth, engagement, and retention

Develop and coordinate marketing policies, programs, and campaigns
-
Establish marketing goals and objectives
-
Analyze complex data, synthesize insights, and seamlessly integrate multiple data sources to create a streamlined and efficient process for automation initiatives

Promote agency products and market to general audiences

Ensure copy and graphics are optimized for greatest conversion while meeting branding standards and guidelines

Forecast and budget for marketing department

Stay current with digital marketing and technology trends and provide relevant and timely execution in a changing market and competitive landscape

Perform leadership duties, including interviewing and hiring qualified staff, assigning and reviewing work, providing training and development opportunities, conducting evaluations, and inspiring team members to achieve a high level of engagement

Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed

Manage outside vendors and agencies as needed

Perform other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; comparable expert-level work experience in a related field may substitute, year-for-year, for education

Experience working in the insurance industry a plus

Strong working knowledge of CRM platforms, email platforms, Adobe, MS Office, Salesforce, Applied Epic, etc.

Expert understanding of digital marketing strategies and email automation

Strong understanding of different web platforms and optimization strategies

Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions

Ability to understand practices, theories, and policies involved in business

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiating skills

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently

Strong leadership and supervisory skills

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information professionally
