KLH Custom Homes is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our team. The Construction Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of construction projects from inception to completion. This position requires strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders including subcontractors, suppliers, clients and internal team members.
Responsibilities:
- Bid Management: Coordinate the process of sending projects out for bid to subcontractors and suppliers. Track bid responses and facilitate bid review meetings.
- Budget Tracking: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines. Update and maintain accurate records of project costs and expenses.
- Overages Management: Track project overages and communicate effectively with the General Manager and stakeholders. Initiate periodic billing for overages as per project agreements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documents outlining build specifications, standards, and project requirements in collaboration with the General Manager.
- Coordination: Serve as a central point of contact for project communications. Coordinate meetings, site visits, and progress updates with internal teams and external partners.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on project status, budget variances, and other key metrics for management review.
- Support: Provide administrative support to the General Manager and project teams as needed. Assist in resolving any project-related issues or conflicts that may arise.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in organization and financial tracking.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in spreadsheet software.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines..
