Land Surveyor
Overview:
Join our team as a Land Surveyor in Training office tech and contribute to a dynamic environment focused on precision and accuracy in land surveying. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with expertise in land surveying techniques and technologies to support our projects. A qualified candidate should have an excellent understanding of the principles of land surveying and a understanding of the fundamentals of boundary surveying and boundary line retracement.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft ALTA/TOPO surveys, legal descriptions and exhibits
- Assist with completing boundary analysis for projects
-Assist with project plan checking
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Maintain adherence to industry standards and best practices in surveying methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred.
-Completion of the Fundamentals of Land Surveying exam (LSIT)
- Proven experience in land surveying, with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Carlson, or similar tools.
- Strong data analysis skills for interpreting survey data accurately.
- Knowledge of Civil 3D software for efficient design and drafting processes.
