Earp Aviation Repairs is a FAA/EASA/UK Part 145 Repair station specializing in the inspection, repairs and overhauls of aircraft brakes and wheels. We are looking for a Quality Manager to assist with the developing quality control processes, leading quality improvement initiatives, and overseeing quality assurance. The Quality manager will work with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Job Summary:
- Responsible for the proper execution of the Quality Department functions and regulatory compliance.
- Accountable for executing assigned rigors to support key KPIs, business objectives, and annual budgets.
Essential Functions:
- Carry out inspections and delegate as needed all tasks, in accordance with the applicable component maintenance manual and repair station quality manual.
- Determine how and when a hidden damage inspection will be accomplished on articles known to have been in an accident.
- Ensure calibration program is being properly administered.
- Oversee and ensure that all appropriate paperwork is completed within guidelines.
- Ensure that records are maintained in a manner that enables them to be reviewed and retrieved.
- Identify quality issues that may arise and consult with the Accountable Manager as needed,
- Maintain Tooling Libraries and track Tooling effectiveness.
- Assist with equivalencies as needed.
- Assist with internal and product audits.
- Interact with customers accomplishing facility audits.
- Ensure employee training is consistently documented and records retained per Title 14 of the Code of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Supervise other inspectors when they are performing quality department duties.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in aerospace inspection or a related field
- Proficiency in CMM reading and interpreting schematics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information
- Knowledge of quality inspection processes and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills for reporting findings accurately
- Previous auditing experience preferred
- Knowledge of FAA regulations relating to CFR 14, Part 145 Repair Station
- Need to at least possess an FAA Mechanic Airframe certification or previously held a Repairman’s certificate with mechanical and electrical accessory ratings, or documented training with a minimum of 18 months experience in the applicable ratings

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
