Role Description
We have an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator in an established and still growing Plastic Surgery Practice. We are looking for someone who will make a positive impression with each patient who walks through our doors. This is a full-time on-site role for a Patient Care Coordinator (Surgical Sales) in Newport Beach, CA. The Patient Care Coordinator position provides patient education, coordination, and scheduling for plastic surgery procedures. Assists physician and staff in coordinating patient care—functions as primary liaison between patients, staff, and physician. Essential duties include developing a rapport with clientele interested in learning about procedures that can make them look and feel better about themselves, cultivating and closing sales leads, following up with booked and committed clientele, and completing critical administrative tasks as part of the sales process.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Discuss cosmetic consultations and cosmetic procedures with prospective patients
- Prequalifies prospective patients and scheduled cosmetic consultations
- Meet with the patient at the time of consultation to discuss surgery, consult with the surgeon, answer questions, discuss concerns, develop a quote for procedures, and discuss fees and financial policies with the patient. Coordinate financing for the patient as necessary.
- Schedules all surgeries- Coordinate pre-op/ post-op follow-up, facility, anesthesia, medical clearances
- Conducts regular follow-up protocols for each patient
Qualifications
- Prior Cosmetic Surgical Sales, Luxury Brand Sales, and/or Plastic Surgery / Medspa experience required
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills
- Expertise in Medical Terminology
- Experience in Appointment Scheduling
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Experience within a medical or surgical facility is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Adobe Acrobat
- High school diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to work occasional events outside of regular business hours (in-office)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
