**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our dental professionals in providing high-quality oral healthcare services to our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office and delivering exceptional patient care.
**Responsibilities:**
- Support dentists and hygienists during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain and sterilize dental instruments
- Perform, or help with, blood draws
- Create patient appliances with 3D printer
- Take X-ray and CBCT images
- Maintain lab/clinical supplies and inventory
- Manage patient records and update medical histories
- Provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques
- Knowledge of dental coding and terminology
- Competence in dental imaging procedures
- Ability to take vital signs accurately
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software systems
- Strong understanding of dental and medical terminology
- Excellent organizational skills for managing medical records efficiently
