DESCRIPTION:
The Manufacturing Engineer III will develop lean manufacturing processes, provide technical support to all
functional departments, lead development projects, and guide team members. They shall work collaboratively with
internal and external customers to provide technical solutions while effectively managing process, policy, and
strategy changes. This position will require extensive customer support including visits to customer sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Develop product configurations and methods utilizing company ERP system (Epicor)
Interpretation and validation of manufacturing processes and documentation in accordance with required
specifications
Lead design reviews to ensure that parts can be manufactured efficiently and in compliance with customer
requirements
Communicate and interpret requirements with vendors and customers
Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and execute cost/cycle-time reduction
initiatives
Conceptualize and create fixtures to support manufacturing using 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor)
Create assembly and test procedures for complex electro-mechanical assemblies
Process engineering change orders and lead the implementation process
Track and update cycle times in ERP System
Provide technical guidance (product and process) to all functional departments
Conformance to ISO procedures and FMI established protocols
Lead complex projects and create project timelines to support company directives
Provide extensive customer support including visits to customer sites
Work collaboratively with customer engineering teams to develop new products
Provide principal engineering support for escalations, audits, and change requests
Perform additional related duties as assigned
Interpret specifications / requirements for companies within the semiconductor industry
Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted
safe work practices
Understanding the importance of designing, building and operating safe systems. Basic knowledge and
understanding of basic safety work processes such as JSA’s and MOC’s
RECOMMENDED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:
CAD certification
ERP system certification
Lean certification
6 sigma certification
GD&T certification
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Advanced degree in Engineering
7-10 years of experience in the precision manufacturing industry
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Computer literacy including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, & CAD software
Organizational, analytical, and planning skills
Aptitude to organize and manage complex projects
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $107,495.00 - $120,000.00 per year
