Bellingham Retina Specialists is a retina-only private practice with 2-fully trained surgeons located in Bellingham, WA and Kirkland, WA (The Retina Group of Seattle). Both offices are equipped with the most advanced equipment and EHR/practice management system (EPM).
Since we opened our 1st office in Bellingham in 2010, followed by our second office in Kirkland in 2016, we have been striving to provide the best possible and the most available retina care in the communities. As a result, we earned referral offices' trust and plan to continue to grow in each area.

**EDUCATION: Minimum undergraduate degree in BA/BS (MBA preferred)
**EXPERIENCE: Minimum three years in a clinical/medical management setting. Experience in building a practice/managing growth is a big plus.

- Supervise all aspects of site personnel management including recruitment, orientation and training, and performance management
- Adapt to process and procedure changes that may be needed to improve work flow
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of staff, administration and health care providers
- Oversee accurate, timely and compliant management of charges for services
- Ensure appropriate assessment and process resolution of compliance and regulatory issues
- Adapt to healthcare policy changes
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical practice or similar office operations and functions
- Effective financial planning and reporting
- Proven employee relations including conflict resolution
- Prioritize and multitask detailed projects with frequent interruptions
- Solve problems issue and concerns in a professional and kind manner
- Discern and maintain confidentiality (i.e. HIPAA, proprietary information, etc.)
- Comprehend and communicate information accurately and clearly (verbally and in writing, in person and via phone) with patients, all levels of personnel, and other individuals and groups
- Proficiency with computer applications for health information systems, word processing, EMR, databases, spreadsheets (Excel), and email.
- Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger coordination, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and listen attentively. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30lbs.
