A Store Clerk, or Sales Assistant, assists in the day-to-day operations of a store. Their duties include selling products, providing exceptional customer service to patrons, and maintaining the reputation of a store.
- Greet customers, answer their queries, and assist them.
- Properly display all store products and place them in an organized manner.
- Perform the checkin process and conduct all transactions and duties related to billing and payment at the store counter
- Have the ability and knowledge to answer customer questions related to information, including availability of products
- Maintain the overall look of the store and ensure that it is clean, restocked, and properly organized
- Maintain product records and inventory, and ensure that the process of re-ordering is smooth
- Be involved in planning and preparation of displays, trade shows, windows, and seasonal promotions
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
