Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist physicians in providing quality patient care in a medical office or hospital setting.
Duties:
- Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting during procedures
- Administer medications under physician's orders
- Conduct X-rays and other diagnostic tests as required
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Assist with patient check-in and scheduling appointments
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety procedures
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience in internal medicine, hospital medicine, PICU, medical-surgical, or geriatrics settings
- Proficiency in medication administration and patient care
- Basic life support certification preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems
