JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Engineer is tasked with nurturing and expanding customer relations to achieve sales and profit targets set by management. They will actively pursue new clients, promote engineering solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and project management. The role involves frequent travel to customer sites, trade shows, conferences, and training sessions.
PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cultivate and maintain B2B relationships via various channels including in-person meetings, phone calls, and email correspondence.

Represent the company at conferences and trade shows.

Manage customer information and communications, including proposals, orders, and inquiries.

Provide quotations and project proposals, collaborating with internal teams for successful project execution.

Coordinate with customers regarding product delivery and negotiation of terms.

Handle purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Proactively address customer concerns and facilitate problem resolution.

Oversee sales order processing from receipt to delivery and invoicing.

Lead customer Run-off sessions and monitor system installations at customer sites.

Manage invoicing and follow-up on payment status.

Maintain accurate sales records and customer files.

Stay updated with industry trends and maintain professional networks.

Travel as required for customer visits and events.

Provide regular reports to the Sales Team and management.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in Engineering or Manufacturing.

Technical background with experience in automation and/or robotic sales preferred.

Self-motivated with strong initiative and results-driven mindset.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage customer needs effectively.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; QuickBooks experience beneficial.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
-
Fluency in Japanese and English is a plus.

Valid driver’s license required.
