Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef for a Senior Living Home. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, managing food preparation for 50 meals per day(lunch only). Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus, ensuring variety and creativity in dishes
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Oversee food handling and storage to maintain freshness and quality
- Manage dietary requirements for guests with specific needs
- Coordinate with other departments, such as banquets or the dietary department, to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Culinary experience and a passion for quality
- Strong knowledge of food service principles and practices

Excellent Job for someone looking for less hours per day. Average work day would be 9am-2pm
