Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various marketing activities to help maintain a positive public image for our organization.
Responsibilities:
· Develops and/or executes social media and content strategies to release information on the organization in a manner that will promote a positive public image.
· Responds to information requests from media contacts.
· Establishes and maintains positive relationships with media outlets, and public interest groups.
· Manage calendars; schedule meetings; send invitations.
· Attend calls; populate CRM with meeting notes and client profile data; create tasks and assign to others for follow-ups.
· Manage e-mail in-box and general correspondence.
· Track projects and tasks
· Data entry in CRM.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field required.
· Two years of related experience required.
· Proficient knowledge of marketing.
· Proficient verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to write content for social media.
· Proficient interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with media contacts and outlets.
· Proficient organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficient time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Proficient in social media platforms.
