Job Description:
As an EH&S Coordinator at Applied Digital, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our workplace operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain EH&S programs and initiatives that promote a culture of safety and sustainability. Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and maintain environmental health and safety (EH&S) programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
· Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with EH&S standards and requirements.
· Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
· Coordinate safety training and education programs for employees, contractors, and visitors to promote awareness and compliance with EH&S policies and procedures.
· Provide guidance and support to management and employees on EH&S issues, regulations, and best practices.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate and manage those risks effectively.
· Monitor and analyze EH&S performance metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EH&S programs, incidents, training, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
· Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies, industry organizations, and other stakeholders on EH&S matters, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Stay current with industry trends, emerging regulations, and best practices in EH&S management and sustainability.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
· 3-5 years of experience in environmental health and safety, preferably in a technology or manufacturing environment.
· Knowledge of federal, state, and local EH&S regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements.
· Strong understanding of EH&S management systems, risk assessment methodologies, and hazard identification techniques.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex EH&S issues and develop practical solutions.
· Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, EH&S management software, and data analysis tools.
· Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other relevant certifications preferred.
