About the role.
As the VP of Clinical Operations, you will work with the CCO to oversee our clinical department, managing both ongoing and new projects to enhance client care, staff experience, and financial sustainability. You will ensure that the strategic objectives of AMHR and the Clinical Department are met, bridging coverage and oversight across clinical divisions.

$12,000 Sign On Bonus Available! *Not eligible for internal employees, and re-hired employees within 90 days from separation.
Based on full time (40 hours/week). Prorate if less than 40 hours/week. Paid in two installments: 50% on first paycheck, 50% on paycheck following 6-month anniversary.
Essential Functions:

Senior Leadership Accountabilities: Lead a team of managers or individual contributors. Ensure that managers provide focus and direction to their respective teams. Actively and continuously evaluate, articulate and model organizational culture through shared assumptions, values, and beliefs. Foster development of leaders and create a culture of accountability. Develop goals, strategic plans, company policies, and make decisions on the direction of the organization. Mobilize and influence external stakeholders and outside resources. Effectively communicate sr. leadership decisions and organizational strategy and plans to managers. Also, share key external updates with team. Set performance indicators.

Lead, participate or oversee the delivery of special projects to meet strategic planning goals.

Identify programming and administrative improvements and develop and oversee initiatives to implement improvements; evaluate and monitor clinical team performance utilizing and partnering with data analytics.

Implement and monitor performance of new initiatives, making incremental changes as needed.

Participate in the monitoring of efficiency and effectiveness of programs and help inform future planning through data collection and analysis, as well as identifying the ongoing needs of consumers and promulgating best practices in treatment.

Partner in outcomes development work across the organization and ensure EBP or other best practice approaches are used on teams to ensure AMHR is delivering the highest quality of care to clients and community members.

Through collaboration with CAO, partner to understand customer service feedback to clinical teams – identify steps for any identified improvements, ensure follow through & improvement on teams; identify best practices and innovation in services and develop projects to integrate them into program operations.

Participate in the development and implementation of tools and/or strategies that promote the "balance score card" of delivering clinical services within the context of sustainable business practices.

Carry oversight of certain clinical teams, as needed; facilitate meetings with managers and/or directors, as needed; coach leaders and staff around reaching strategic goals; promote professional interdisciplinary collaboration and encourage teamwork to improve the functioning and efficiency of the organization.

Assume oversight of clinical operations in the absence of the CCO.

Demonstrate and model leadership in program development and implementation, service delivery, program monitoring and change management.
Requirements:

Master’s or Doctorate Degree in clinical psychology, counseling, social work, or equivalent field.

Five years' progressive management and supervisory experience.

Two years’ post-licensure experience in direct clinical service delivery.

Two years' experience in clinical program management.
-
Two years’ experience in a director (senior leadership) role.

Current Colorado Licensure in behavioral health field: PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LPC or LMFT or Licensure in behavioral health field: PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LPC or LMFT from another state and in process of obtaining Colorado licensure and will have prior to six-month anniversary with Center.

Knowledge of mental health treatment services, development, and the service delivery system.

Excellent managerial, qualitative, verbal and written communication skills; ability to analyze and present data to
groups and individuals. -
Experience with performance management; excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational
skills. -
Understanding of principles and practices of budget development and administration, goal setting,
organizational planning, program development, implementation and evaluation. -
Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations governing programs and services.

Strong skills in the principles and practices of supervision and personnel management.

Strong interpersonal communication skills, team-building practices and conflict resolution skills.

Understanding of the practices and techniques of employee motivation and development.

Experience with preparing funding applications and proposals, program administration and monitoring.

Understanding of community needs and resources as well as principles and practices of conducting needs
assessment. -
Coordinating multiple projects and meeting critical deadlines.

Maintaining effective internal and external communications.

Exercising creative and sound independent judgment within established guidelines.
Required Vaccinations and TB Test.
AMHR has prioritized the health and safety of our clients and staff and requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, receive an annual influenza (flu) shot, and receive negative TB test results prior to their first day of hire. Proof of both vaccinations and negative TB test will be required upon your first day of employment. Medical and religious exemptions may be requested for the COVID 19 vaccine, annual flu shot or TB test.
Salary for this role.
Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. Salary is also based on years of licensure and company equity.
Bilingual Language Differential Pay. *rate depends on language requirements for the position and candidate's fluency.

Will receive scheduled earnings on a bi-weekly basis for all hours worked (excluding non-productive hours paid but not worked, e.g., paid time off, holiday, administrative, etc.) in an amount equivalent to 10% of their regular base rate (hourly or salaried), to a maximum amount of $6,000.00 per calendar year. *the annual maximum amount will be prorated based on full time equivalency (FTE).

Will receive scheduled earnings on a bi-weekly basis for all hours worked (excluding non-productive hours paid but not worked, e.g., paid time off, holiday, administrative, etc.) in an amount equivalent to 5% of their regular base rate (hourly or salaried), to a maximum amount of $3,000.00 per calendar year. *the annual maximum amount will be prorated based on full time equivalency (FTE).
