design items in the warehouse. Everything in it’s place and easily found to allow for the interior design plan to quickly be
pulled together by the stagers and the logistics teams, get onto our trucks and out to our staging homes. Along with an
openness to be coached around skills that will ensure efficiencies throughout each department. We also believe in our
team members taking ownership of their performance and how that contributes to the overall success of the company.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Organizer is responsible for supporting the warehouse and staging teams by keeping all design and decor merchandise organized and accessible. This includes but not limited to; accessories, art, bedding, linen, greenery, lighting and furniture pieces.
APD is looking for strong team players to join our team in a fast-paced environment, out of our Concord warehouse. All
job openings are warehouse-type positions and do require lifting, moving, and traveling from warehouse to multiple jobsite locations.
Reporting to the Operations Manager.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Display and merchandise shelving to streamline operations.
- Merchandise the shelves of home décor items in a way that the staging team has the best view and access to staging inventory. Inventory includes but not limited to; accessories, art, bedding, linen, greenery, lighting and
furniture pieces.
- Morning receiving and restock inventory
- Organize supply room on a weekly basis
- Assemble accessories and small furniture as needed
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Adapt to a daily changing environment and support the entire staging department in completing each project successfully
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with warehouse cleaning
- Other duties may be assigned in the warehouse
- Efficiently lift and move lightweight furniture, home accessories, large artwork, and storage bins.
- Additional full-time position duties: Travel between warehouse and job-sites to take or pick up accessories from staged homes when needed, manage regularly schedule dry-cleaning and laundry services.
Qualifications
- Preferred valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Endurance and ability to lift up to 50lbs
