We are seeking an experienced front of the house shift managers for our location in Lincolnwood.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ service team management experience required
- Experience serving in an upscale dining or an equivalent service environment preferred
- Ability to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length
- Ability to move, bend, lift, carry, push, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance; Stand or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift; Complete tasks that require repetitive motion
- Certified or willing to certify in Food Handling, and Alcohol Service.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and some holidays
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests, managers and team members
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment

- Directing, supervising, and training the front of the house service team

- Nurture an excellent guest experience by building a team who can interact with guests in a personable and professional manner
- Coaching the service team to be knowledgeable on menu items, including our seasonal features, specials, curated cocktails, and wine list.
- Clearly communicate any menu deviations, and/or 86ed items to provide the most up-to-date information to guests
- Accurately record and communicate orders to bar and kitchen making note of any dietary needs, food allergies, or special requests; Keep kitchen team informed of guests' meal progression to ensure orders are properly coursed to meet company standards
- Coaching staff to process orders and payments accurately and efficiently adhering to proper cash and credit card handling policies and procedures
- Assisting the General Manager with hiring and scheduling
- Closing cash management
- Adhere to all health and safety standards and policies
- Adhere to all Kosher regulations while at work as set forth by our certifying agency
