About the Role
We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to assist with the creation and execution of marketing, branding, and communications materials at Aegis. This position is an integral part of Aegis’s overall growth and success. You will share Aegis’ story with the world, assist with business development, attract strong candidates, and ensure that our staff is always well-informed. The successful candidate will have an acute attention to detail, strong creative skills, and an agile approach to task management. You will work with our Communications and Marketing Director and Manager, and the heads of most departments, including operations, human resources, and business development.
General responsibilities include:

Assist in strategic planning for internal and external marketing and communications initiatives.

Drafting and editing posts for our internal communications platforms

Content creation (social media posts, graphics for proposals, end-of-year recap videos, etc.) for internal and external communications

Lead the writing and delivery of the weekly internal newsletter

Assist in research for social and in-person campaigns as well as industry trends
-
Posting, scheduling, and engaging with followers on our social channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).

Assist with video and photo shoots for internal and external content

Upkeep on the monthly scheduled content calendar

Communicate in a professional but unique social media “voice” for Aegis, directly aligned with corporate strategic objectives.
Requirements:

Attention to detail, self-motivated, creative problem-solving skills

Experience with major social media platforms
-
Positive attitude, detail, and client-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability

Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills

Experience with Adobe Photoshop/Premiere/Illustrator/InDesign

Experience with WordPress and SEO practices

Fluency in English
Nice to have:

Proven working experience in corporate communications for an architectural, engineering, or construction company.

Degree in communications or marketing related field

Proficiency in Adobe Suite products
