As a result of this expansion, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor as a well-qualified candidate.
The Manufacturing Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of all materials and supplies, and implementing efficient inventory control procedures. The role supports the materials management team with storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory. Assists the department with administrator assignments, while conducting a variety of duties towards meeting the team's goals and business objectives.
Duties:
- Inventory Management: Oversee all aspects of inventory management, including planning, organizing, and controlling the flow of materials to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
- Inventory Tracking and Documentation: Implement and maintain systems for accurate tracking and documentation of inventory movements, including receipts, transfers, and withdrawals.
- Inventory Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Develop strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.
- Supply Chain Support: Collaborates with Supply Chain team to plan and ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues related to quality, quantity, or lead times.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. Implement best practices and recommend technological solutions as needed.
- Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, including ITAR, ISO9001, and AS9100. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support regulatory compliance.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of inventory control specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of progressive experience with inventory management in an Aerospace manufacturing role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations and reporting.
- Ability to follow established job instructions and procedures with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
- Capable of following instructions and applying processes and procedures to standard routine tasks.
- Must be able to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings, charts, diagrams, and sketches.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office along with developed keyboarding skills.
- Experience with ERP Systems (NetSuite is preferred).

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
