The Opportunity:
As a Sales Development Representative at Braintrust Tutors, you will be the frontline of our sales team, responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound sales activities. You will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and setting the stage for successful sales engagements.
Job Type: Full-Time Exempt, Remote
Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000
What You'll Do:
- Conduct outbound sales activities, including cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach to introduce potential clients to Braintrust Tutors' services.
- Research and identify potential leads within school districts.
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs and determining their alignment with Braintrust Tutors' services.
- Work closely with the Sales Team to develop and implement sales strategies and to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and lead data in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure effective lead generation and follow-up on marketing campaigns.
- Provide timely feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in educational technology and the tutoring industry.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a sales development or inside sales role in the education sector or with educational technology products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone and via email.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient with CRM software and other sales tools.
