We are seeking a full-time Electrical Superintendent to join our project site team in Port Sulphur, LA. We are looking for someone who is able to support the construction activities of the project in the execution phase.
Position Summary:
The Electrical Superintendent role is primarily responsible for supporting the Electrical team at the assigned project site. In this role, you will be providing electrical expertise, direction, and supervision to the electrical portions of projects from development through substantial completion. This role will also assist management or directly supervise subcontractors on projects when required.
- Oversee overall contractual compliance via site inspections and daily field report review.
- Completion of daily reports for quantity tracking, task & project progression, with material look ahead.
- Review and manage project and subcontractor change orders and submittals.
- Conduct and assist with QA/QC for component installation and completion.
- Plan, forecast, coordinate, and direct onsite craft, subcontractors, and supervision for daily, weekly, and project completion activities.
- Coordinate all required training for craft, subcontractors, and clients as needed.
- Ensure all personnel comply with OSHA, corporate and projects safety standards.
- Ensure all personnel meet or exceed the specified requirements and workmanships standards.
- Provide professional input and recommendations. Utilize their experience and expertise to provide resolutions to potential issues, problems, or concerns of the project.
- Coordinate and obtain all required onsite testing, inspections, and documentation for project completion.
- Assist, conduct, or perform all additional duties as the management team deems necessary.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience working in renewables, combined-cycle power plant construction, or other large-scale industrial projects
- 8+ years of experience in a Superintendent position managing electrical trade and subcontractors in an industrial or heavy commercial environment.
- 8+ years of experience managing crews upwards of 30+ personnel, along with multimillion dollar construction contracts and projects.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code, NFPA70E, NETA, and required local jurisdiction codes where required.
- Must maintain a professional demeanor along with a well round work mentality, if required they must represent the company and uphold our standards while presenting, speaking, or interacting with sub-contractors, vendors, clients, the public, etc.
- Candidates with journeyman cards and/or master electricians are preferred but not required.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per work week and must be available for extended work hours including weekends as necessary for project schedule.
- Must be willing to travel as required for company business, and any additional duties/task deemed necessary by management.
- Proficient in Microsoft programs, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Must have knowledge of the construction field and best practices.

- Possesses leadership qualities and the ability to resolve conflicts professionally & effectively.
- Must have strong organizational & problem-solving skills, as well as a high attention to detail.
Pay Structure:
$105k to $120k+
Per diem $3500-$4500 range depending on the project
