Position summary:
The primary purpose of this position is receiving all incoming shipments and materials. Materials must be entered into the company business systems, tracked with complete accuracy, and sampled and tested per company policy.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
- Receive incoming material and enter into company business systems.
- Sample incoming material as required by company policy and store in Quality Control hold area.
- Coordinate with purchasing when urgent materials are being tracked.
- Report damaged incoming materials to purchasing and the appropriate logistics carrier.

- Must be able to walk, stand, sit, see, hear, and speak for extended periods of time.
- Work involves exposure to known allergens.
- Requires exposure to temperature extremes and exposure to outside weather conditions from open dock doors, dirt, dust, fumes, chemicals, etc.
- Requires exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.
- Position requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear, which may include use of respirator.
- Incumbent must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Position works primarily Monday through Friday. May require occasional weekend work.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook and QuickBooks
- Must periodically pass pre-employment and random drug screening.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
