As Assistant Controller, your primary responsibility is to oversee the SEC filing process, provide strategic guidance and contribute to financial management.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the preparation of forms and financial statements to be filed with the SEC and other external parties
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Term Loan rerporting requirements
- Provide advice on technical accounting issues, researching appropriate guidance, benchmarking peer disclosures, and drafting or reviewing technical accounting memos or position papers
- Partner with the external tax advisors and support preparation and review of tax returns
- Operate within the Company's SOX compliance controls in connection with the preparation of the Company's financial reporting process.
- Monitor the development and applicability of emerging accounting and reporting rules being deliberated by the SEC, FASB, PCAOB, agencies or other regulators
- Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations for improvement
- Identify and report on potential future business, finance, and accounting matters that could impact the company's financial statements.
- Participate in Controlling functional management and strategy.
- Ensure foreign subsidiary compliance with local statutory reporting requirements and advise on any foreign location expansion
- Serve as a business advisor on accounting and reporting matters to senior leadership, providing guidance and support in connection with M&A efforts, leading the financial due diligence process.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- SEC reporting experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels in organization
- CPA license (active or inactive)
