Job Description
The Web Application Developer develops, maintains, and improves the Fisher College of Business website (Drupal) as well as custom internal web applications (on-premises and AWS), including underlying business processes, data layers, and ETL, using web programming languages (.NET Core, C#, PHP), database systems (MSSQL, MySQL), and CRMs (Salesforce, PeopleSoft, Workday); works independently and in project teams to implement applications according to project specifications and department guidelines, including code quality, documentation, security, accessibility, and brand guidelines; maintains develops processes and systems (Jenkins, bash, Docker, Kubernetes); troubleshoots application related issues as needed to support production systems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 4 years experience with web application development using HTML/CSS and object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, Ruby, or PHP. Experience with relational database systems such as MySQL or MSSQL; ability to communicate effectively with clients, developers, testers, and management.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Drupal (module development, theme development, familiarity with Drupal API, drush); experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure; experience with devops tools such as Jenkins; experience with Kubernetes; experience with Agile development methodologies; experience with data reporting tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Tableau.
The target hiring range for this job profile is $73,100 - $97,500. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
