This is technical work in the diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance of cars, trucks, buses and vehicular equipment. Work may involve advising less experienced employees and/or temporarily supervising the shop. Assistance and/or direction are available from a supervisor.
The days and hours for this position: 4:30pm to 1:00am - With Sunday & Friday off

Three years of experience performing a wide range of maintenance and mechanical repair work on light and heavy vehicles is required.

A minimum of five (5) years of unrestricted driving experience is mandatory.

It is preferred that applicants have a valid Class A or Class B CDL with airbrake and passenger endorsements. However, individuals hired without a CDL must acquire one within six (6) months of being hired.

Previous involvement with bus and/or diesel systems is a plus.

A year of prior welding experience using gas or electrical equipment is favored.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need of a sponsorship.
Offers of employment are contingent upon passing a pre-employment physical, which includes drug screening, and upon satisfactory evaluation of the results of a criminal record check.
This is a safety-sensitive position that requires the most recent two-year Drug and Alcohol testing records and accident records.
This position is represented by Teamsters Local 795 and includes Teamsters Pension.
