POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Warehouse & Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for continuously providing high-quality results and representing the Guardian brand. Additionally, you will interact and engage with our customers providing exceptional service, care and concern for their project while adhering to Guardian policy. The Warehouse & Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the organization, maintenance, and security of the warehouse & yard area, ensuring that all equipment, materials, and resources are properly managed to support ongoing construction projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and distribute materials necessary to technicians every morning before they are dispatched

Track and receive inventory of materials for scheduled projects

Drive box truck to pick up materials when delivery to Warehouse is not possible as well as delivering to job sites

Oversee the logistics of job site needs including delivering honey buckets,
trailers/swaps outs, dump truck assignments, misc. material needs that cannot get
delivered -
Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible

Safe operation of the equipment provided to safely haul loads (for example, forklift,
dock plates or load bars and straps) -
Support operations management to accomplish job site material management needs

Create and manage a safe and functional yard to increase efficiency and the
opportunity to create an inventory system -
Manage and ensure the security of all guardian equipment, track and maintain the
equipment as needed. -
Coordinate the maintenance of the fleet vehicles and trailers with mechanics,
managers, and drivers to ensure the maintenance program is on track.
- Timely returnable materials as directed by management from job, the yard and from
job sites in varying locations around Guardian’s service area, tying materials to
projects when possible to obtain the most accurate job costing -
Assist with the facility maintenance and security of the Guardian office

Make frequent drops at area dumps

Ability to make determinations of recyclable, versus non-recyclable materials to
ensure proper disposal of job site waste -
Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs.)

Contribute to finding ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business
- Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the
public -
Willing to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the logistics industry

Strong knowledge of warehouse management practices, including inventory control and equipment maintenance.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
-
Osha10 or Osha30 certification highly desired

Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a construction environment.

Current Forklift Certification, prior experience driving a sit-down forklift
-
First Aid Certification is a plus

Ability to manage high volume workload with competing and changing priorities

Intermediate level of computer proficiency

Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. at times

High School Diploma or equivalent

LOCATION:
$24 - $29.00/hr (Depending on experience)

The compensation package will be highly competitive and will consist of a combination of performance-based incentives and salary. In addition, Guardian provides Medical, Dental and Supplemental Insurance plans as well as a 401-K.
SCHEDULE:
Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm + Overtime
