We are currently seeking an entry level Assistant Leasing Coordinator for our growing property management company. You will be working in a fast paced, customer focused setting. You will work along side our our Leasing Coordinator who is the first impression of our company and our properties. You must present a level of professionalism and unparalleled customer service to landlords, agents, tenants and vendors.
As the first impression of our company, it is important our Assistant Leasing Coordinator understands the value of providing strong customer service, effective sales techniques, and how to overcome objections. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with residents, prospects and vendors, and to present a positive, professional image. We are looking for a true team player to add to our fast growing company.
Responsibilities and Duties
-Answer incoming phone calls professionally and handle accordingly, whether the caller is a prospective tenant, a tenant or a vendor
-Complete all lease applications and participate in the verification of applications
-Notify prospective agents and their clients of results
-Prepare leasing documents and contracts
-Collect first month’s rent and deposits from new tenants
-Comply with Federal Fair housing laws, statutes and regulations, as well as local laws and ordinances
-Understand the Landlord and Tenant Rights and Responsibilities information provided by the Attorney General
-Marketing lease listings on various platforms and social media
-Administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
-1-2 years of customer service and/or leasing experience
- Real Estate licensee preferred
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Excellent communicator
-STRONG organization skills
-Very proficient with computers and technology including online business solutions such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to consistently utilize a Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) and property management software
-Must have reliable transportation and be able to lift 10-20 pounds when needed
-Be willing to get or already have a smart phone with use of full data and text
-Quick learner, adapts well and embraces change
-Open, honest, trustworthy and dependable
-Happy energetic, fun positive attitude
-Team players who possess a strong sense of loyalty
-Motivated, with a good work ethic and drive
-Consistent follow up and follow through
-Forward thinker with the ability to problem solve
Full time, in office, 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday thru Friday with flexibility for occasional evening and weekend events as needed.
