Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is seeking to fill a vacancy of .NET / C# Developer with Mobile experience - Senior.Programming Skills: ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#.NET, Microsoft 365/Azure, SharePoint, DevOps JavaScript, HTML5 iOS, Android preferred Databases: MS SQL ServerUnder the general direction of the Information Technology Manager, members are expected to identify and resolve advanced technology-based work problems of a nature that employees are unable to solve or overcome. Types of issues resolved will be addressed by two or more of the following disciplines: Application Development/Support: Database Administration, Application Design, Application Development, Quality Assurance, Incident Management, Financial Management, Project Management, Document Management, Service Management, Production Application Services, or Middleware ManagementWork is reviewed through observation and results obtained. Specific duties are based on assignment.Requires scheduled on-call availability.SUPERVISES OTHERS: NoResolves advanced service desk tickets and customer reported problemsTroubleshoots and returns technology to service within discipline at an advanced levelManages and performs effectively personal daily activities and multiple major projects under the discipline of defined business processesIdentifies and analyzes complex problems; distinguishes between relevant and irrelevant information to make logical decisions; provides solutions to problemsDesigns and implements technology at an advanced level within the disciplineRecommends and implements changes to improve operational efficienciesDemonstrates technical leadership when working with peers and customers to achieve long-term solutions for a variety of agency technology needsContributes to project plans/schedules, and coordinates requirements, tasks, work assignments, resources and critical milestones, focusing on priority tasksRegular and reliable attendance is required as an essential function of the positionThis position is considered essential and, in the event of an emergency or natural disaster, will be required to report to workParticipates in Sheriff’s Office recruitment and community relations activities as directedThis list is not intended to be all-inclusive and you may not be responsible for every item listed. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Technology or related fieldSix (6) years’ experience in information technology specific to the assigned discipline (i.e. application development, database administration, etc.) that includes customer serviceOr equivalent combination of education and experienceAdditional qualifications as identified by the assignmentMust possess a valid Florida driver’s licenseConsideration for this position requires a credit check
