Job Duties:
- Answering incoming calls and providing assistance or directing calls to the appropriate department.
- Greeting and checking in patients upon arrival, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Checking out patients after appointments, processing payments, and scheduling follow-up appointments as needed.
- Verifying insurance coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations for procedures or treatments.
- Managing the clinic schedule for doctors, including scheduling appointments, rescheduling as needed, and handling cancellations.
- Preparing patient charts and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate for the following day's appointments.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
- Providing excellent customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Prior experience in a medical office setting, preferably in a front desk or administrative role.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
