The Resource Development Coordinator position works closely with a statewide Development Team and in our Regional locations managing public relations and fundraising.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in the planning and implementation of all aspects of fundraising and the development of resources for the region to meet the needs of the organization.
- Provide leadership in the development of relationship building activities within region.
- Participate in the development of annual public relations and fundraising plans.
- Participate in public relations efforts to promote a positive image of The Learning Tree programs.
- Identify and coordinate local grant opportunities.
- Provide leadership with direct solicitation for sponsors and donors.
- Work with parent and volunteer committees to support all special events.
- Process donations and prepare acknowledgement letters and other correspondence in a timely manner.
- Assist in the planning and development of all organization publications, brochures, newsletters, annual reports, donor appreciation, etc.
- Manage donor tracking systems and files.
- Manage all social networking opportunities for specific region.
- Provide routine reporting as required.
- Assist in planning regional and state meetings.
- Participation in a minimum of one professional development training event annually.
- Participation in regular staff meetings.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years related work experience, preferably in a not-for-profit development office.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, database management.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Good driving record.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
