Responsibilities: - Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments - Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments - Maintain patient records and update medical information as necessary - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any concerns or questions Experience: - Previous experience in a medical receptionist role or similar administrative position preferred - Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures - Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple calls simultaneously - Knowledge of electronic medical record systems - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Note: Experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office may also be considered relevant for this position.
