Job Title: Solar Electrical Quality Control Technician
Summary
Recon Corporation is a solar EPC contractor working in multiple locations in the United States. We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to assist in the quality control and assurance of operations of solar installations in the Midwest and South/Southeast The Quality Control Technician will be involved with quality control and assurance process related to the planning, constructing, and commissioning of all facets of the project. The Quality Control Technician will inspect quantities and quality to ensure compliance with contract deadlines and owner specifications and ensure that defective work or materials be corrected or removed. Quality Control Technician will work under the oversight of the Quality Control Manager,
Quality Control Technician Job Responsibilities
· Plan and coordinate work in conformance with the company quality control program, using objectives designed to ensure continuous production consistent with established standards
· Coordinate and communicate objectives with Recon management and clients.
· Ensure that quality objectives are communicated and understood by workers and subcontractors and follow the requirements set forth in the contract documents
· Maintain project documentation and record keeping as required to ensure the effective planning, operation, and control of project activities
· Assist in development and implementation methods and procedures for observing, monitoring, and tracking work activities, to inform management of status or work activities
· Analyze and resolve work problems or assist employees in solving work problems
· Investigate customer complaints regarding quality and make recommendations to ensure they are managed and resolved appropriately
· Recommend new policies or procedures as necessary to assure high quality of product or service
· Handle audits to ensure adherence to the quality control program
· Modify quality or production standards to achieve optimal quality
· Demonstrate ability to collaborate and communicate with a broad internal and external audience
· Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, ethics, and discretion
· Demonstrate suitable time management and organization skills
Required Skills
· Proficient with MS Office Suite of tools, Spectrum and Raken.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
