Position Summary
The Financial Reporting Analyst is an integral part of the institutional services team at Covenant Trust Company. This position leads multiple aspects of the team including the examination, analysis, and interpretation of accounts; reporting; research; communications; regulatory compliance; and presentations. The Financial Reporting Analyst provides routine supervision, direction, and support to the Associate Financial Reporting Analyst.
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s Degree with business, finance or accounting concentration, or other appropriately related field.
- Two-years relevant experience; Trust Operations background preferred.
- Proactive with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues, end-users, and with external vendors.
- Strong communication (oral and written, English) skills.
- Excellent customer service skills; excellent interpersonal skills for a quality working relationship with client organizations, Covenant Trust staff, vendors, and other service representatives.
- Excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to learn and utilize multiple company systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to work in a high volume and fast paced environment, handling multiple deadlines and multiple projects in a timely and professional manner.
- Commitment to on-going training and development.
- Exercise confidentiality and discretion.
Position Details
Reports to the Vice President/Chief Operating Officer
Full-time, exempt (salary $70k), benefit eligible
39 exempt full-time employees, 3 non-exempt full-time employees
Monday through Friday work schedule with flexible daytime hours
3-days per week in the Chicago office and 2-days remote (after a period of orientation)
