Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Audio/Video and Automation Technician to lead our technical team. This role involves overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced A/V and automation systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage the installation and programming of high-end audio/video and automation systems.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
- Technical Expertise:
- Design and implement custom solutions tailored to client needs and specifications.
- Conduct system diagnostics, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including client education on system functionalities.
- Ensure all installations and services adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in A/V and automation technology.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in A/V and automation system installation and programming.
- Extensive knowledge of home automation platforms (e.g., Control4, Crestron, Savant).
- Proficiency in network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of audio and video signal flow and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Flexibility to work various hours and respond to emergency calls as needed.
