Driver CDL Class A Position Overview:
The CDL Class A Truck Driver position will support transportation and delivery of various products and warehouse operations. The CDL Class A Driver must have both standard commercial vehicle with air brakes experience. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft software, will support the successful candidate. The ability to work independently and be a responsible self-starter is essential for success in this position.
Driver CDL Class A Essential Functions:
Essential functions of this position include
- Drive a standard commercial vehicle with air brakes
- 2 years at least driving experience with a flatbed truck
- Safe driving
- Compliance with all DOT rules & regulations
- Safely operate warehouse equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, moffett)
- Load and unload freight
- Maintain truck in a clean and orderly condition
- Material handling
- Maintaining warehouse and dock areas
- Customer service
- Excellent communication skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum two years standard tractor/trailer with air brakes driving experience, flatbed experience required
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft software
