This full-time customer service position requires a “customer first”, positive attitude, effective interpersonal skills, high energy, outstanding computer skills and attention to detail. The Customer Service Coordinator will answer phone inquiries, respond to requests for quotations, receive and process customer orders, update customers with the status of their orders, work with colleagues to identify problems, develop solutions and be responsive to customer needs. This is an important position as the company voice to our valued customers.
Requirements
- Warm, friendly demeanor and genuinely enjoy helping customers over the phone.
- Strong communication skills
- Good computer skills, typing and writing ability for data entry, processing orders, etc.
- Appearance and demeanor appropriate.
- At least 3 years experience in customer service
- Attention to detail
- Good time management skills and able to prioritize tasks on daily basis
- High-energy with the ability and willingness to take on additional responsibility.
- Enjoy and take pride in providing excellent service
- Business Central ERP experience a plus
- Shipping documents, domestic and international, experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Responding to requests for quotations to existing customers.
- Gather new customer information for credit review, set-up customer in ERP system.
- Receive sales order, review pricing & terms, route for shipments.
- Enter sales orders, acknowledge sales order, and communicate promised ship dates. Follow customers routing guides where applicable, identify changes when needed. Get freight quotations, defend customer & company with freight costs.
- Review shipments at end of the day and invoice customers.
- Answer phone calls, provide information, and follow up quickly to respond to questions.
- Keep election and hard copy customer files up to date and create new files as needed.
- Other duties as needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
