Job description:
The recruitment is seeking an experienced application database architect who will work closely with an application development team and project manager in the Enterprise section to design, code, test, and migrate existing DB2 data into SQL Server as new web applications are developed and released. The individual in this position will:

Work on and analyze two different database, DB2 and SQL Server
- Create SSIS packages to support CDC
- Perform ETL from CDC tables to history tables without loss of data
- Collaborate with business analyst, project manager, and program area stakeholders to define requirements for data migration
- Plan and execute migration of high-profile modernization projects
- Document database and migration processes
- Develop .NET and SSIS packages
- Create data flow diagrams
- Develop strategies for data acquisitions and archive recovery
- Clean and maintain database by removing and deleting old data
- Adhere to consistent data migration processes
- Develop, implement, and optimize in-application SQL statements, stored procedures and functions
- Have strong proficiency with SQL and experience with Visual Studio, C#, CDC and SSIS
- Create database triggers for use in automation
- Have experience and expertise in leading large and complex data migration projects
The database architect is expected to work with minimal supervision, have strong communication and leadership skills, and be a team player. They are expected to demonstrate exceptional judgement based on experience to plan and accomplish data migration goals. Hands on technical expertise and development is required.
Prior experience building and supporting Collection-focused web applications, such as Benefits Recovery Investigation Tracking System (BRITS), and experience with the referral/investigation lifecycle and claims processing is required.
