Rate of Pay: $288,052.67 (Weekly: $5,230.76 + $201.02 FICA Reimbursement)

Shift: Full Time Onsite 35 Hours per Week - Monday – Friday 8:30-4:30, must be available for emergencies evenings and weekend via phone.
SUMMARY:
The Joint Industry Board of the Electrical Industry (JIB) was established in 1943 by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union No. 3 and employers affiliated with the National Electrical Contractors Association. Its mission is to promote harmony between employees and employers, administer benefits for members and their families and improve competitiveness through progressive management, education, training, and technology.
The Electrical Employers Self Insurance Safety Plan (EESISP) is the largest and oldest group self-insured trust fund in New York State. For over 50 years, it has provided workers’ compensation and disability coverage to the members of Local Union No. 3, IBEW and affiliated employers. Since its inception, EESISP has paid over $1 billion in indemnity benefits and medical costs related to on the job injuries. In 1996, EESISP created a model Alternate Dispute Resolution and managed care program for workers’ compensation in New York.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office -- customer service environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop computers, phone, scanner, printer, keyboard, photocopiers, shredder, and fax.
Physical Demands
Sedentary work environment with physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. This would require the ability to lift files, pull files/forms/books, stand, bending, shred documents, open/close filing cabinets as necessary.
Travel -- No travel is expected for this position.
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Thorough working knowledge of NYS Workers Compensation Law & Disability Law
- Minimum of 15-20 years experience in the field
- Must have Insurance Industry managerial experience
- Experience managing a staff of 20 employees
- Experience in: Claims handling and supervision of claims examiners; Setting Reserves; Financial Management; Interacting with auditors, actuaries, accountants and attorneys; Setting goals and managing a team to accomplish those goals; Reporting to the Board of Directors
- Ability to interact with high level personnel at NYS WCB in Albany
- Familiarity with ADR programs and working in a Union environment helpful
- Other duties as assigned

Full-Time Benefits Package:
