New England Development is a real estate development company with a diverse portfolio. The Leasing Coordinator position is within the retail and office leasing group and supports all aspects of the deal making process working with one or more Leasing Agents.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Candidate must be a team player with strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work across multiple technologies such as Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Smartsheet and specific industry systems including VTS, MRI and Regis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work directly with one or more Leasing Agent(s), performing administrative functions such as scheduling meetings, making travel reservations, correspondence, answering phones etc.
2. Leasing Coordinator will work with Leasing Agents throughout the deal process as follows:
a. Assist with Deal Tracking throughout process;
b. Prepare all related deal documentation;
c. Create and update activity reports and forecasts as necessary;
d. Establish solid communication with various internal and external constituencies;
e. Work with Design Department to ensure that all property plans are up to date, and request materials as needed for new deals;
f. Work within industry technology platforms to create, log, track and organize documents.
g. Work with Marketing to prepare presentation materials for meetings, etc.;
h. Take prospective tenant inquiries on assigned properties and disperse the information to the appropriate Leasing Agent for follow up.
3. Perform certain tasks relative to industry conventions, such as:
a. Pre-convention planning and packing
b. Assisting with organizing office set-ups for convention meetings, as well as shipping material back to the office at the conclusion of the convention.
c. Working front desk at convention for greeting and meeting coordination
JOB REQUIREMENTS / CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS:
o Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of related work experience
o Knowledge of commercial real estate and lease documents preferred
o Strong experience in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint.
o Related experience in Smartsheet, VTS, MRI and Regis a plus

- Flexibility and willingness to assist outside of specific job description when necessary
- Ability to multi-task, support multiple people and projects
